The IT Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining and supporting the company's information technology networks, systems, and infrastructure. This role provides hands-on technical support to employees, assists with system administration, and ensures reliable operation of hardware, software, and communication tools across the organization.
This role requires strong analytical thinking and the ability to understand and troubleshoot issues based on user descriptions. Success depends on effective prioritization, organization, and the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels and with outside vendors. A calm, patient demeanor and clear communication skills are essential.
The position involves frequent computer-based work, including sitting for long periods, with occasional physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 30 lbs., and performing basic equipment setup or maintenance.
